Oy Litorale Ab is a privately owned Finnish publishing house founded in 1995. The company publishes 20–25 books annually, primarily in Swedish, and has established itself as an important player in Finland-Swedish literature. The name Litorale means “coast,” which is reflected in its publications on maritime topics, the sea, the archipelago, and local history. At the same time, the share of fiction in its catalog has grown through collaborations with established authors. Litorale is committed to literary diversity, publishes debut works, and focuses on high-quality literature without being driven by short-term market trends. The publishing house has released works by more than one hundred authors and distributes its books both nationally and internationally.
