This is what the Book Fair is all about
International writer guests
The Helsinki Book Fair attracts a number of international writer guests every year. In 2023, the fair attracted popular authors from the USA to Italy and from Ukraine to the UK – almost 30 international writers from eleven different countries.
For children
The Book Fair’s children’s area charms both big and small! Children get to meet familiar story characters and can participate in various workshops, storytelling sessions and music games.
Antiquaries
The popular antiquary area presents the selections of about 40 companies at the same time. Come and make discoveries!
The Record Fair
The Record Fair is organized as part of Helsinki International Book Fair. There are tens of thousands different vinyl records and CDs from different music genres available.
